I think the climate of our book is when the guy shot the arab and started from there he started to doubt his life.
I think the social commentary is the fact that he doesn't believe himself and he think his life on the planet is just a waste of time. He doesn't care if he lives or not. I think he used to believe in faith but after so much sorrows that happened in his life he started to doubt what he once believed.
In the beginning i didn't like the story because it seemed to slow paced and boring but after awhile i started to like it because it's mainly about his life and i found it very interested when he seem so angry toward other people and espec
